My top 5 favorite supplements

Working for GNC has given me the opportunity to test out a wide array of supplements. Shopping for supplements can be overwhelming, especially if you have not used very many. I would like to share my knowledge and opinion to help you choose effective products.

Best preworkout: DAS Labs Bucked Up

Not only does this preworkout taste great, but the focus and pumps are unlike other products on the market. Das Labs sells the original Bucked Up, Woke AF, and a stim-free Bucked Up. I prefer the original Bucked Up for general lifting sessions because it contains the perfect amount of caffeine and beta-alanine. I am 125 lbs, so too much of either of those ingredients can leave me feeling nauseous and may even ruin a workout. What sets this product apart is it’s addition of alpha GPC to enhance focus and power output. Taking Bucked Up has influenced me to take things to the next level during my weight training sessions. That’s why I choose to represent Bucked Up as a DAS Labs brand ambassador (use the code GRACELIFT20 to save 20% on all products).

Best stimulant-free preworkout: Performix Pump

There are many reasons people opt for a stimulant-free preworkout; for some it is a sensitivity to caffeine, for others it may be because they prefer to workout at night. Performix products are innovative because they use Terra Intelligent Beads for extended delivery. This results in a pump that lasts for hours after you leave the gym. The nutrition label recommends taking 2 scoops for maximum results, however, 1 scoop is sufficient for me. It may feel weird to drink this preworkout initially, since the Multi-Phase Beads do not dissolve into the water. This is my go to product for cardio centered workouts or late night lifting sessions.

Best BCAA: BPI Sports Best BCAA Soft Drink Series

I look forward to working out just so I can drink this product afterwards. That’s how much I enjoy using this BCAA. The fizzy, slight carbonation in addition to flavors like root beer and cream soda is enough to satisfy my sugar cravings. You can use this product pre/intra/post workout, but I prefer to use my BCAA post workout and drink water intra workout. This product has a standard 2:1:1 ratio (leucine:valine:isoleucine) of peptide linked branched chain aminos. I love that BPI Sports added safflower oil, avacado oil, coconut oil, and CLA to promote lean muscle growth and fat loss. The perfect product if you are on a low-carb or keto diet!

Best protein: JYM Pro JYM Protein

A mixture of whey, casein, and egg protein is what makes this protein versatile. Use it post workout, as a meal replacement, or before bed. Anytime is beneficial and appropriate to use this product. This is a protein made with high quality ingredients and in so many delicious flavors. Help your body build and maintain lean muscle by investing in this product.

Best weight loss drink: BPI Health CLA + Carnitine

This is one of those products that can be used by almost anyone. A non-stimulant powder that burns fat and supports lean muscle. No worrying about losing the muscle mass I worked so hard to acquire. Simple ingredients that are clinically dosed is why I keep this product on hand. I use this when I want to drop my body fat percentage around the spring/summer. The rainbow ice flavor is my personal favorite.

So there you have it! Please comment your favorite supplements or your experience with any of the supplements I listed in this article. Thanks for reading!
